Why I built Small Adventures.
I've spent my career designing and running technology services for some of the UK's biggest retailers, and twenty years planning holidays for my own family. Over those years one thing kept coming back. The trips we remember weren't always the biggest or the most expensive. They were the ones with the right rhythm: an easy start, something new, time together and a strong finish.
So I started planning trips around how they should feel, and the places came after. Friends and family asked me to plan theirs. Then I built the trip builder, so anyone can plan this way in a few minutes.
What we promise
We show what flights and transfers cost, and we say when a trip needs more than your budget.
Nobody pays us to put a place in your trip. The places and operators we suggest are there because they fit it.
